After a 2-year pandemic pause, the Minnesota Indian Women’s Sexual Assault Coalition is going virtual for our 2022 Restoring the Sacred Trails of Our Grandmothers Annual Conference!
The theme for the 14th MIWSAC conference is Tending to Our Roots to End Sexual Violence.
Our roots are who we are, how we are nourished, and where we are all interconnected. The roots of violence are also connected and do not stop at sexual violence, or white supremacy, or poverty.
Our Roots are sacred medicine and we must tend to them.
Please join us for radically inclusive Speakers and workshops that demonstrate the places where our roots are connected, and that embodies the intersections of our transformational work to end gender-based violence.
The conference is free of charge, as always!
We will convene via Zoom each day from 12:30p to 4:30p Central on April 12, 13, 14, 2022.
