A Collaboration in Changing Practices and Supporting Healing

Elevate|Uplift is an equal partnership of the Minnesota Indian Women’s Sexual Assault Coalition, The National Organization of Asian Pacific Islanders Ending Sexual Violence, the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, and the Resource Sharing Project supported by the Office on Violence Against Women.

Elevate|Uplift is built on the foundation of lessons learned from the Sexual Assault Demonstration Initiative, a multi-year national project that helped community-based organizations strengthen services for survivors of sexual violence. Elevate | Uplift deepens and broadens that work by offering survivor-serving organizations the opportunity to explore these lessons learned with us.

Elevate|Uplift acknowledges that the sexual violence field has historically centered some survivors and not others and challenges organizations to expand their vision to the entire of spectrum of survivors of sexual violence.

Elevate|Uplift engages with organizations to change their practices and understanding of healing and offers a variety of learning opportunities to address
